10 Healthy Smoothies for this Hot Summer

Summer is starting!!! So we have to find ways to beat the heat. We still enjoy the summer by avoiding intolerant heat to eating frozen desserts, Chilled smoothies, and many more. You can also drink Butter milk and various flavored lassi. But we have to alert about our health. So here are 10 healthy smoothies for this hot summer.  Believe me!! It’s easy to make and yummy to taste.

Mango Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 Cup Chopped Ripe Mango

1/2 Cup Low-Fat Milk

1/2 Cup Ice

1/4 Cup Plain Yogurt

1 Tablespoon Honey

Mango Smoothie

Directions:

Add mango, milk, ice, yogurt, and honey in a blender.

Blend until smooth and frothy.

Bananas and Honey Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 1/2 Cup Yogurt, Frozen

2 Bananas, Frozen

3 Teaspoon Honey

2 Teaspoon Pumpkin Seeds

1 Tablespoon Water

Bananas and Honey Smoothie

Direction:

Peel the bananas. Place yogurt, honey, pumpkin seeds, water and bananas in a blender.

Blend till smooth.  Pour in a cold glass.  Garnish with pumpkin seeds and honey.

Dragon Fruit and Yogurt Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 Dragon Fruit

2 Fresh Apricots

2 Drops of Any Sugar Substitute

2 Tablespoon Hung Yogurt

1/2 A Cup Milk

6-7 Ice Cubes

3 Tablespoon Corn Cereal

Dragon Fruit and Yogurt Smoothie

Direction:

Peel and cut the dragon fruit into chunks.  Deseed and dice up the apricots.

Put the dragon fruits chunks, apricots, sugar drops, yogurt and milk and blend it. 

Place some ice cubes and corn flakes. Blend it well till it's luscious, smooth and silky. 

Serve in a nice glass garnished with cereal.

Melon and Kiwi Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 Kiwi, Cut

2-3 Slices of Papaya

2 Slices of Melon

A Couple of Grapes

1 Plum, Sliced

1 Glass Milk

1 Teaspoon Honey

1/2 Cup Oats

Melon and Kiwi Smoothie

Direction:

Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend properly. 

Serve chilled.

Strawberry and Guava Smoothie

Ingredients:

6-8 Fresh Strawberries, Sliced

1 Real Pink Guava Juice

1 Glass Milk

1 1/2 Tablespoon Honey

Strawberry and Guava Smoothie

Direction:

Put real pink guava juice, sliced strawberries, milk, honey and some ice cubes in Blender. Blend it together.

Pour it in a glass and serve it chilled.

Tropical Power Smoothie

Ingredients:

2 Tablespoon Rolled Oats

2 Tablespoon Flax Seeds

2 Bananas, Peeled

1/2 Cup Blueberries (Or Frozen Mixed Berries)

3/4 Cup Orange Juice

1 Tablespoon Honey

A Few Drops of Vanilla Extract

1 Tablespoon Nonu (Noni) Juice

Tropical Power Smoothie

Direction:

Blend rolled oats, flax seeds, bananas, blueberries, orange juice, honey, vanilla extract and nonu juice until smooth and creamy.

If necessary then add waiter to make thin.

Grapefruit Smoothie

Ingredients

1 Grapefruit, Peeled, Seeds Removed

1 Large Sweet Apple, Cored And Skin Removed

2 Cups Spinach

1 Large Ripe Banana, Sliced

2-3 Ice Cubes

1/2 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk, Water or Orange Juice to Thin

Grapefruit Smoothie

Direction:

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until creamy and smooth.

Mix more liquid if too thick, ice to thicken.

Served chilled.

Dates Smoothie

Ingredients:

2 Frozen Bananas

1/4 Cup Coconut Milk

1 Cup Ice Cubes

1 Cup Soy Milk

1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon

1/2 Teaspoon Ginger Powder

5 Dates, Chopped

2 Teaspoon Date Syrup

1 Date, Thinly Sliced For Garnishing

Dates Smoothie

Direction:

Blend all ingredients together using blender until smooth.

Pour and serve chilled.

 

Avocado Mango Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 Cup Ripe Mango, Chopped

1/4 Haas Avocado, Peeled, Pitted and Chopped

1/2 Cup Mango Sorbet

1/4 Cup Skim Milk

2 Tablespoons Honey

2 Teaspoons Lime Juice

1/4 Cup Crushed Ice

2 Mango Slices, 1/2-Inch Thick

1 Lime Slice

Avocado Mango Smoothie

Direction:

In a blender, Mix the chopped mango, avocado, sorbet, milk, honey, lime juice, and ice. Blend it until smooth.

Pour into a glass. Garnish the sliced mango and the sliced lime halfway through to the centers. Served chilled.

Beet and Yogurt Smoothie

Ingredients:

3/4 Cup Cooked Beetroots, Coarsely Chopped

60g Fresh or Frozen Raspberries

1 Cup Cranberry Juice, Chilled

½ Cup Low-Fat Plain Yogurt

Chilled Raspberries, To Garnish (Optional)

Beet and Yogurt Smoothie

Direction:

In a blender, Mix beetroot, raspberries, yogurt and cranberry juice until smooth.

Pour into glasses and top with remaining yogurt. Garnish with extra raspberries, if you like. Serve immediately.
