Salty Lassi
Ingredients:
1 Cups Plain Yogurt
1/2 Cup Cold Water
1 Fresh Green Chili, Seeded and Very Finely Chopped
½ Teaspoon Ground Cumin
Salt And Pepper To Taste
Fresh Coriander to Garnish
Crushed Ice to Serve
Direction:
Blend the yogurt and water together for 1 min.
Mix chili and cumin with salt and pepper and blend together.
Garnish with cumin powder and finely chopped coriander. Serve over crushed Ice.
Sweet Lassi
Ingredients:
1 Cups Yogurt
1/2 Cup Water (Chilled)
3 Tablespoon Sugar (Or To Taste)
Pinch of Cardamom Powder (Optional)
Ice Cubes as Required
Finely Chopped Pistachios and Almonds for Garnishing
Direction:
Put yogurt, water, sugar, Ice Cubes and cardamom powder in a mixture and blend it until smooth and frothy.
Take in glass and garnish with some sliced pistachios and almonds to serve.
Mango Lassi
Ingredients:
1 Cup Plain and Thick Yogurt
1/2 Cup Milk
1 Cup Chopped Very Ripe Mango, Frozen Chopped Mango, or a Cup of Canned Mango Pulp
4 Teaspoons Honey or Sugar, More Or Less to Taste
A Pinch of Ground Cardamom
Ice Cubes as Required
Direction:
Take mango, yogurt, milk, sugar, ice and cardamom into a Mixture and blend for 2 minutes.
Sprinkle ground cardamom to serve.
The lassi can be kept refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
Strawberry Lassi
Ingredients:
3 Cups Fresh Strawberries, Chopped
½ Cup Milk
1/2 Cup Sugar
Rounded 1/4 Teaspoon Ground Cardamom
2 Cups Plain Yogurt (Whole-Milk or Low-Fat)
1 Cup Ice Cubes
Direction:
Take Strawberries, yogurt, milk, sugar, ice and cardamom into a Mixture and blend for 2 minutes.
Garnish with strawberries and serve it.
Papaya and Honey Lassi
Ingredients:
1 Cup Plain, Non Fat Yogurt
1 Cup Fresh Papaya, Chopped
1-2 Tablespoons Honey
1/8 Teaspoon Cardamom
4-5 Ice Cubes
Direction:
Take Papaya, yogurt, milk, honey, ice and cardamom into a Mixture and blend for 2 minutes.
Sprinkle ground cardamom to serve.
Chocolate Lassi
Ingredients:
1 Cup chilled thick yogurt
2 Tablespoon water
½ Cup dark chocolate chunks
4 Tablespoon nutella at room temperature (optional)
2 Tablespoon cocoa powder
8 to 9 toasted or roasted almonds sliced into juliennes
2 Tablespoon caster sugar Or brown sugar ( I prefer less sugar you can add more if required)
A pinch of salt
Few ice cubes (optional)
Direction:
Combine chocolate, cocoa and nutella into a microwave bowl with water. Microwave on high power until melted.
Allow the chocolate to come to room temperature.
Now mix melted chocolate, some toasted almonds, chilled yogurt, caster sugar and some ice cubes if using.
Grind them into a processor until they all mix evenly.
Serve chilled. Garnish on top with reserved toasted almond juliennes.
Kiwi and Mint Lassi
Ingredients:
2 Kiwi, Chopped
2 Tablespoon Mint
Black Salt As Per Taste
1 Cup Yogurt
½ Cup Water
2 Tablespoon Sugar
Direction:
Take chopped kiwi, mint, yogurt, Sugar, Water and Salt into a Mixture and blend for 2 minutes.
Garnish with mint and serve it.
Avacado Lassi
Ingredients:
2 Ripe Avocados, peeled and roughly chopped
1/2 Cup Plain Yogurt
1 Cup Whole Milk
2 Tablespoons Sugar, Or To Taste
4 Green Cardamom Pods, Seeds Removed And Crushed
1 Tablespoon Rosewater
Direction:
Put the yogurt, milk, sugar, crushed cardamom seeds, avacado and rosewater to the blender and process to a creamy consistency. Taste and sweeten more, if required.
Serve chilled.
Mix Fruits Lassi
Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons Honey
1 Medium Pear, Roughly Chopped
1 Medium Apple, Roughly Chopped
2 Cups Yogurt
2 Tablespoons Apricot, Preserved
4 Fresh Mint Leaves
Direction:
Blend chopped pear and apple in a Mixture well. Put yogurt, honey and apricot preserve and continue to blend till smooth.
Mix a cup of ice cubes and blend some more. Add mint leaves and blend again.
Serve chilled.
Rose Lassi
Ingredients:
1-1/2 Cup Yogurt
1 Cup Chilled Water
Sugar as Required
Salt as Required
1 Teaspoon Rose Syrup
Ice Cubes as Required
Directions:
Take curd, rose syrup, sugar, salt and water in a mixing bowl and whisk it with an blender till it is smooth.
Check sugar and add more if required.
Put ice cubes in the serving glass and transfer lassi and serve chilled.
Blueberry Coconut Lassi
Ingredients:
2 Cups Blueberries (Fresh or Frozen)
2 Cups Yoghurt
1/2 Cup Coconut Milk
1 Tablespoon Honey
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Direction:
Put blueberries, yougurt, coconut milk, honey and vanilla extract in a blender and blend for a few minutes until smooth.
Serve immediately.
