Mouth-watering Ways to Use Condensed Milk
Slow Cooker Chocolate Fudge
2 blocks cooking milk chocolate, broken into pieces
1 tin (395g) sweetened condensed milk
1 Tablespoon butter
1 packet (160g) M&M's Mini
Put chocolate, condensed milk, and butter into slow cooker on high with the lid off. Stir it in every 15 minutes until melted.
Then turn gas high to low flame and continue to stir every 15 mins for up to 2 hours.
Pour into a square cake tin and smooth over the top.
Garnish with M&M's Mini and put into the fridge to cool for 1 hour. Cut into squares and serve.
1 Cup biscuits crushed
4 Tablespoon soft butter
½ Cup desiccated coconut
½ cup cocoa powder
1.5 Cup condensed milk
Take a mixing large bowl and mix biscuits, butter, coconut and cocoa powder. Mix well with hands.
Then add condensed milk and mix until sticky.
Make small ball from it and roll in coconut. Leave for an hour and Serve it.
Fruit 'n' Nut Chocolate Fridge Cake
200g Chocolate-Chip Biscuits, Chopped Into Pieces
1/2 Cup Pistachio Kernels, Toasted, Chopped
1/3 Cup Hazelnuts, Toasted, Chopped
1/2 Cup Raisins, Chopped
300g Milk Chocolate, Chopped
3/4 Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
4 Tablespoon Butter, Chopped
Cocoa Powder, For Garnish
Grease a deep pan. Line base and sides with baking paper, allowing a 2cm overhang at long ends. Mix biscuit, pistachio, hazelnut and raisins in a bowl.
Place chocolate, condensed milk and butter in a saucepan over low heat. Cook and stir it until smooth.
Add chocolate mixture to biscuit mixture. Stir to mix properly.
Spoon mixture into prepared pan, pressing down on mixture to prevent air bubbles.
Refrigerate for 2 hours or until set. Remove baking paper and place cake onto plate. Garnish with cocoa. Slice and Serve it.
Shahi Tukra with Condensed Milk
4 Pieces of readymade bread toast
For the Rabadi:
1 1/2 cups milk
4 Tablespoon condensed milk
1/2 slice fresh bread crumbs
1/4 Teaspoon cardamom powder
A pinch of nutmeg powder
For the garnish
1 Tablespoon slivered almonds and pistachios
1 to 2 edible silver leaves
For the rabadi:
Take a bottomed non-stick pan and Mix all the ingredients and bring to a boil and stir it continuously.
Boil for a few minutes till the rabadi is thick.
Remove from the flame and Set aside.
Put the toast pieces in a deep serving dish.
Pour the warm rabadi over toast pieces.
Refrigerate till it is chilled.
Garnish with the silver leaf and almonds and pistachios and serve it.
3 ripe avocados
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1.5 Cup condensed milk
1. Coconut milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons chopped pistachios
Cut and remove seeds from the avocados. Scoop the flesh into a mixture. Mix lemon juice and grind until smooth. Mix the condensed milk, coconut milk and vanilla extract and process until combined.
Pour to an airtight container. Cover tightly and freeze, stirring occasionally so it freezes evenly, for 3 hrs or until almost frozen.
Again mix using mixture until smooth. Return to the container and cover. Freeze until firm. Set aside to soften slightly before scooping into bowls. Sprinkle pistachios and serve it.
Ice Cream Slice
1 1/2 Packets malt biscuits
2 Cup sweetened condensed milk
2.5 Cup thickened cream
2 large Crunchy bars, roughly chopped
. Make layer of biscuit in a tin.
Take cream and condensed milk together in a bowl and whip it using a mixer until thick.
Mix roughly chopped crunchy bars into above prepared mixture and stir it properly.
Place above prepared mixture over the biscuits and again make layer of remaining biscuits.
Place this tin in Freeze overnight. Cut into sections and serve.
Potato Chip and Caramel Fudge
3 cups milk chocolate, melted
1.5 Cups sweetened condensed milk
2 Cups jersey caramels, Melted
2-3 Tablespoon water
3 cups crinkle-cut salted potato chips
1 Teaspoon sea salt flakes
Put baking paper in a cake tin and keep aside. Take a pan, Put the chocolate and condensed milk together over low flame and stir it constantly.
Take away from heat once chocolate is completely melted. Place this mixture into cake tin.
In an Oven bowl, put the caramels and water. Set the Microwave on high for 2 minutes, then remove from microwave and stir properly until liquefied. Mix more water if the caramels are still hard.
Place the caramels mixture onto the chocolate layer. Sprinkle some crushed potato chips and salt.
Fridge until firm. Cut into squares and serve.
