Aloo Bread Pakoda Recipe

Cooking Time:  15 Minutes

Serves: 2 Persons

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

For the Filling

For The Crisp Outer Coating

4-5 Medium Potatoes, Boiled and Peeled

3 Cups Chickpea Flour/Gram Flour

1 Green Chili, Finely Chopped

A Pinch of Asafetida

2 Tablespoon Coriander Leaves, Finely Chopped

½ Teaspoon Red Chili Powder

½ Teaspoon Red Chili Powder

½ Teaspoon Garam Masala Powder

½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder

½ Teaspoon Carom Seeds

½ Teaspoon Garam Masala Powder

6 Brown or White Bread Slices

1 Teaspoon Amchur Powder

Water As Per Needed

½ Cup of Mint Coriander Chutney

Salt as Per Taste

 

Cooking Oil for Frying

 

Green Chutney OR Garlic Chutney as per Needed

Direction:

Preparing the Potato Stuffing:

Take all the ingredients of Stuffing and mix properly. Keep aside.

Preparing Gram Flour Batter:

Bread Pakoda Recipe

In a bowl, take gram flour, carom seeds, garam Masala Powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, asafetida and salt.

Add enough water to make proper batter without any lumps.

Preparing Bread Pakora:

Put oil over flame for Frying.

Take slice of bread and spread green chutney or Garlic Chutney. Put Potato stuffing.

Cover with another slice of bread. Cut into two triangle shape OR Four square shapes.

Check if oil is hot enough. Then Dip bread in Batter and deep fry it.

Fry it till it becomes crisp and golden brown.

Drain on a tissue paper. Delicious Bread pakoras is ready to Eat OR serve.

Served with Sweet red chutney or Green Chutney.
