Maharashtrian Misal Pav Recipe

Maharashtrian Misal Pav Recipe

Cooking Time: 30 Minutes

Serves: 4 People

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

2 cups Mix sprouts

2 Medium Onion, Finely chopped

1 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder

Salt as per Needed

1 1/2 Teaspoon Ginger-Garlic Paste

2 Teaspoons Coriander Powder

1 Teaspoon Coriander Leaves

5 Teaspoon Oil

1 Teaspoon Turmeric powder

Water as per needed

1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala powder

1 Teaspoon Goda Masala Powder

6 Pav Buns

Garnishing

2 small onion, chopped

Mix Farsanas per Needed

Direction:

Step1 of Misal Pav

Soak mix Sprouts for 6 to 7 hours or overnight. Pressures cook all the soaked Sprouts for 4 whistles on medium heat.

Make a paste of Chopped onion. And also make paste of ginger and garlic.

Step2 of misal pav recipe

Take a pan and Heat oil in it. Put onion paste and sauté for a minute.

Put ginger and garlic paste and sauté till its raw smell gone.

Step3 of misal pav recipe

Add salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and goda masala and stir for a while.

Mix boiled sprouts and water in above mixture. Cook continuously for at least 8 to 10 minutes.

Step 4 od Misal PAv recipe

Then take Misal in a plate and sprinkle mix farsan over it and garnish with chopped onion and lemon juice.

Serve hot with Pav.
