5 tablespoons Basmati Rice, Soaked
4 Cup Milk
A pinch Saffron (kesar)
3/4 cup Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
10-15 Pistachios, blanched, peeled and sliced
Grind the soaked rice without water and make a coarse paste. Put milk on flame to boil. mix rice paste with little water or cold milk.
Boil till rice is completely cooked, stirring continuously. Mix saffron well.
Put sugar and cardamom powder and cook till sugar is completely dissolved. Pour into Serving bowl and garnish with pistachios.
Put in a refrigerator for an hour before serving.
