Rajasthani Mirchi Vada Recipe

Serves – 4

Ingredients For Filling:

200 Gm Potatoes Boiled, Peeled and Mashed

8-10 Large Green Peppers

2 Teaspoon Salt

1 Cup Chick Pea Flour (Besan)

1 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder

1 Teaspoon Salt

2 Teaspoon Dried Mango Powder

1 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder

2 Teaspoon Coriander Powder

1 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder

1/4 Teaspoon Asafetida

Water as Required

2 Teaspoon Fennel Seeds Crushed

Oil for Deep Frying

1 Teaspoon Green Chili, Chopped

Direction for Filling:

  • Take a Bowl and Put all ingredients of filling include mashed potatoes.
  • Mix properly and keep aside.

Direction for Batter:

  • Wash the peppers and Wipe it. Slit lengthwise and Remove seeds from it.
  • Fill the prepared filling in it.

  • Put Besan, Red Chili Powder, Turmeric powder, salt and enough water in a bowl and make smooth paste.
  • Heat the oil on bottom pan. When oil is ready to fry, Dip the pepper in the batter and drop it into oil.

  • Turn gas medium and fry till a golden brownish color.

  • Transfer it in tissue paper, Before Servings.
