Butter Kulcha Recipe

Cooking Time : 40 mins.

Serves – 2

Ingredients For Butter Kulcha:

2 Cups + in Rolling All Purpose Flour 

Salt as per Taste

2 Teaspoon Baking Powder 

2 Teaspoon Sugar 

2 Tablespoon Curd 

¼  Cup Milk 

Water as Required

3 to 4 Teaspoon Nigella Seeds 

3 to 4 Teaspoon Chopped Coriander Leaves 

1-2 Teaspoon Butter 

Direction For Butter Kulcha

  • Take a bowl and put flour, salt and baking powder. mix properly.
  • Then Add sugar, curd and milk and mix it well.

  • Slowly Put water little at a time and knead to create smooth dough.

  • Oil your hands lightly and knead the dough so that it doesn’t get sticky.

  • Cover the dough and keep it for ferment for 2 hours.
  • Then divide it in 8 equal pieces. Roll them in all purpose flour and roll with a rolling pin.
  • Spread Nigella Seeds and coriander leaves over it and again roll it.

  • Then turn a side and spread water that side.
  • Heat the griddles on medium flame and put prepare kulchas on it and place it on griddle till bubble start to appeared.
  • Place griddle upside down and place it directly to the flame when bubble start.
  • Check frequently by lifting griddle.
  • After apply butter on it and serves it with Curry and punjabi sabji.
