Kaju Katli Recipe

Serves – 2-3 Person(12 to 15 Slices)

Ingredients For Kaju Katli:

1 Cup Cashews Nuts

1/2 Cup Sugar

5 Tablespoon Water

1 Tablespoon Ghee

Sliver Leaf for Decorating

Direction For Kaju Katli

  • Take Cashews nuts and grind it in mixture till it turns into fine Powder and be careful about not become pasty or oily.
  • Take sugar and water in a pan over low flame and let the sugar dissolve in the water.

  • When all sugar dissolved then add cashew nuts powder and keep on stirring the mixture over low gas.

  • Cook the mixture for 7-9 minutes till the whole mixture starts to come together as dough.

  • Transfer the mixture into a bowl and add ghee in it.
  • Kneed this mixture properly. Flatten the mixture and place it on a butter paper. Place also butter paper on top and roll it using rolling pin till you reach a thickness of 3-5 mm.
  • Remove the butter paper and keep aside till cashew dough cool. Using sharp knife, cut the mixture giving diamond shapes.

  • gently remove the kaju katli with a butter knife and decorate with sliver leaf.
  • Kaju Katli is Ready to Serve.
