1/2 Cup Ghee

1 Cup Basmati Rice

1/2 Litter Milk

2-3 Cardamom

A Pinch Kesar (Saffron) 

8-10 Pista (Pistachios), broken into half

2 Cups Sugar

Kesar Pista Kheer


  • Firstly take bottomed frying pan and add Ghee in it. And Let it get warmed over a low fire.
  • Add the Basmati rice to the skillet and sear it softly over a low fire. Bring it down before it turns rosy.
  • Now take another bottomed griddle over the gas stove and empty the milk into it. Keep it on a medium fire. Continue mixing it gradually and convey it to boil once the milk begins bubbling.
  • Add the Basmati Rice in it and then add sugar. At that point include the Saffron and Pistachios into it. Drop the Cardamom seeds into the milk. Expel it following 5-6 minutes. And then bring it to Bubble.
  • Turn off the gas stove after the rice gets puppled appropriately.
  • Your Saffron Pistachios Kheer is prepared now. Let it cool down.Put it in the refrigerator for further cooling. Then garnished it with dry fruits Saffron.
  • Kesar Pista kheer is ready for served to the Guest.
