Ingredients for Tikka:

200 Gms Panner Cut Into Cubes

1 Black Cardamom

1 Teaspoon Ginger-Garlic Paste

1 Tablespoon Whole Dry Coriander Seeds

1/4 Cup of Thick Curd

1 Inch Cinnamon

1/2 Tablespoon Cumin-Coriander Powder

1 Dry Red Kashmiri Chili

1 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder

1/2 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder

1/2 Teaspoon Kasuri Methi

1/4 Teaspoon Tumeric Powder

1/2 Teaspoon Chat Masala Powder

1/2 Teaspoon Garam Masala Powder

1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice

1/2 Teaspoon Crushed Kasuri Methi

2 Tablespoon Cooking Oil

1/4 Cup Fresh Cream

Salt to Taste

Paneer Tikka

How to Make Paneer Tikka?

  • Firstly, make marinade for tikka. Take thick curd and beat it in a bowl until smooth. Add ginger-garlic paste, kasuri methi, salt, lime juice, cumin-coriander powder and red chili powder to it and mix properly.
  • Add cubes of paneer and mix smoothly to cover each cube. Cover it with a plate and rest for an hour to enhance the flavors properly.

  •  After marinating, Heat oil in a non-stick pan, Place deep cubes over it and shallow fry them over medium temp. Turn side of the cube 3-4 times until all sides turns brown color. Then transfer into a plate. Put aside.

How to Make Gravy for it?

  • Take a pan and heat oil over a medium gas. Put black cardamom, dry coriander seeds, cinnamon, dry red kasmiri chili, cashew-nuts in it. And cook for a minute. Then add chopped onion and stir fry over a medium gas until it turns light brown.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and salt. Mix it properly. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes until tomatoes turn soggy. Add red chili powder, tumeric powder and garam masala powder. Combine properly and fry for a minute. Turnoff gas and transfer into a plate and keep aside for 4-5 minute.
  • Put above made mixture into mixer grinder. Add 1/2 cup water and grind it in to a silky puree.
  • Move gravy in the same pan and add 1/2 cup water. Put it to cook over medium gas. When mixture starts bubbling, add crushed kasuri methi and cook for a minute.
  • Add prepared paneer cube. Cook for 3-4 minute until gravy turns thick over low flame. Add fresh cream and mix properly.

  • At the last, turn off the gas and move prepared gravy to a serving bowl. Garnish with coriander leaves and serves hot.
