Pani Puri Recipe

Ingredients For Pani Puri

For Puri: 

For the Filling:

1 Cup Sooji(Semolina)

1.5 Cups smashed and Boiled Potatoes

2 Tablespoon Maida (all Purpose Flour)

0.5 Cup Boiled Black Chickpeas(Kala Chana)

2 Teaspoon Cooking Oil

0.5 teaspoon red Chili powder

Salt to taste

0.5 teaspoon cumin-coriander powder

Warm Water as Needed

1 teaspoon chat masala powder

For Pani:

2 tablespoon chopped coriander powder

0.5 Cup Mint Leaves(Fudino)

Salt to taste

0.5 Cup Chopped Coriander Leaves

1-2 Green Chili Chopped

0.5 Inch Piece Of Ginger

1.5 Medium Size Lemon

3 Tablespoon Sugar

Salt To Taste ,4 Cups Water

1 Teaspoon Chat Masala Powder

4 Tablespoon Boondi (Optional)

Direction For Pani Puri:

Direction For Puri:

  • Take a bowl and Mix semolina,maida,baking soda and salt in it
  • Add water little by littel and bind stiff dough. Cover it with wet cloth and set aside for 25 minutes.

  • Remove cloth and knead again until becomes smooth.

  • Divide dough into equal portion and roll it using rolling pin into round shaped roti. Cut roti in small round puris using a round shaped small lid.
  • Heat oil in a deep pan over medium flame. when oil is medium hot put 5-6 puris in oil .
  • Deep fry them untill crispy and light golden brown. Remove and place them on paper napkin to absorb extra oil.

  • Store them in an airtight container.

Direction To Make Pani:

  • Take a jar of grinder and put Mint leaves, Coriander leaves, Green chili, Piece of ginger and salt to grind.
  • Mixture of these things grinds until its look smooth. Add .0.5 cup water if required.
  • Transfer this mixture into one large bowl and add sugar,chat masala, lemon, salt and water.

  • Then stir this mixture and mix properly.
  • Put into refrigenator to at least 1 hour.after mix boondi in it.

Direction to make Stuffing:

  • Take smashed potatoes, black chickpeas, salt, Red chili powder, cumin-coriander powder, Chat masala and coriander leaves.
  • Mix Them properly and take a side.

Assemble Pani puri:

  • Take a Each puri and make large hole in middle usind thumb or finger to fill stuffing.
  • Stuff masala in it and take a pani puri water in a bowl. Dip in pani and Enjoy it.

How to Make Chaat Puri:

  • First Prepare Sweet chutney, Green Chutney and Garlic Chutney.
  • Make a hole in puri and place chooped potatoes and Onion.
  • Add three chutneys in it and then pour 1 teaspoon curd in pori. Sprinkle sev and coriander leaves.
