Rava Ghughra Recipe

Serves – 2-3 Person

Ingredients For Rava Ghughra Recipe: :

2 cup Maida

500 Gms Rawa

1/4 Cup Grated Coconut

1/4 Cup Raisins

1/2 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder

1/4 Cup Chopped Almonds

1.5 Cup Powder Sugar

3 Tablespoon Ghee

Oil for frying

Direction For Rava Ghughra:

  • Heat ghee in pan and Put Rawa. Roasted it till it becomes light brown in low flame. Turn off the flame.

  • Mix Cardamom powder, raisins, almonds, coconuts and sugar in mixture properly. Keep a side.

  • Take maida in mixing bowl and add ghee in it. Mix it well. Put little by little water and knead soft dough. Divide in to small equal balls.

  • Roll it like small puri using rolling pin. Put stuffing in puri.

  • Put all edge of puri together and press slowly. Make different shapes of ghughra.


  • Heat Oil in a pan at slow flame. Fry it properly at slow flame when oil is enough heat.

  • Rava Ghughra is ready for serve.
