Softy and Yummy Malpua Recipe

1 Cup Plain Flour

1/2 cup Mawa

1/4 Teaspoon Saunf Powder

1/2 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder

Pinch Salt

1 Tablespoon Sugar

2 Cups Milk

1/2 Cup Ghee for Frying

Fistful Sliced Pistachios

8-10 Almonds, Peeled and Sliced

5-6 Saffron Strands

For Sugar Syrup:

3/4 Cup Sugar

1/2 Cup Water

1/4 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder

3 Saffron Strands


Malpua Recipe

Boil milk in a deep bottomed pan till it reduces 1.5 cups. Turn off the gas and keep aside for cooling.

Mix mava and half of the milk well and make it smooth. Put cardamom powder, salt, saunf powder, sugar and saffron and stir it to mix properly.

Add the little by little flour and stir it continuously. Add the remaining milk and make smooth flowing batter. And keep aside.

To make Sugar syrup:

Boil sugar and water in a pan till all sugar is dissolved. Cook syrup for 10 minutes on low flame. Mix cardamom powder and saffron and turn off the gas. Keep aside.

Take a pan and Heat ghee for frying. Put a small ladle of batter in the center of the pan. no need to spread it. Cook on medium flame till both sides are golden brown.

Take it from pan when it s done. Put it in sugar syrup immediately for minutes.

 Place malpua in plate and garnish with sliced Pistachios and Almonds.
